Christopher Peter Meloni was an American actor, who was famous for his part in a well-known television series called 'Law & Order Special Victims Unit. In college, he began to take an interest in acting. At the University of Colorado at Boulder where he took classes in acting. While he's appeared in both films and television, but it was his character on the small screen which have earned him recognition and followers. His ability to play characters that are both law enforcement and criminal is a draw for the public. He played a serial killer in his first television series project and then went on to portray the character of an NYPD detective. Because of his appearances on smaller screen, he's garnered many nominations to the prestigious Emmy Awards as well as the PRISM Awards. The most beautiful facial characteristic can be attributed to his blue eyes, which have been deemed to be a trademark and have aided in creating characters that are savage and charismatic. The actor was featured in People's magazine's list for the Sexiest Men Alive in 2006.
